I hadn’t been to Disneyland since my birthday in May, so I was very anxious to go. I mentioned this to Melissa, and she decided to come along as well!
I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before (but I don’t want to read through all my posts to double check), but I LOVE celebrating birthdays! And my own? Well I just deserve an entire weekend, right?
A couple Disney trips, birthday dinners, and quite a few drinks, March 2017 was a wonderful month!
A new year, lots of new things! One of the biggest things is that I “graduated” from physical therapy and started up Taekwondo again! So 2017 I’m focusing on myself and being a better, healthier me! But that comes with time, so for now I will share with you my January highlights!

When big sister comes to visit, you do not take it easy. Or so was the motto of the weekend in which my awesome friend Rachel came to visit. What was in store for day two? What else but Disneyland!
I was finally able to attend the Food and Wine Festival at Disney’s California Adventure, and here is how it went!
Disneyland on crutches was quite an experience. Thankfully, they cleared a nice path to meander through crowds, and my companions made up for my discomfort!
With my surgery fast approaching and my future lack of mobility on the horizon, I knew I needed one last Disney hurrah to go out with a bang! (warning that those who aren’t as big of a Disney fan as I am may be bored by this post)
