A very random day, but definitely worth noting on this blog!
In honor of the eclipse, a group of us went up to the roof of our parking garage to take a look. Hilariously, none of us had the special glasses so we just took short glimpses of the eclipse. Although we weren’t prepared, it was a fun way to break up the busy morning of work!
Later that night, Zach and I met up for dinner and a Pokémon hunt! Yes, we still play PokémonGo. Don’t hate. Zach was about to head off on the same program I participated in in Israel, so this was our last chance to hang just the two of us. We first headed to a my new neighborhood favorite, “Galanga Thai Fusion.” Their food is really delicious and not that expensive!
After eating our fill, we hopped in the car to go to the Santa Monica Pier, a prime Pokémon catching spot. Both of us were successful in our quest, and we got to spend some good quality time together.
As I’m writing this, Zach has been in Israel for just two days, and is having a great time. I’m hoping to be able to visit him in December, so I’ll be sure to let you know if that happens! Till the next adventure!
