I went to my first Dodger game in two years, and it was with one of my favorite people!
The last Dodger game I attended was in June of 2015, so when my little sister Hallie, whom I hadn’t seen since May, called me and asked if I wanted to take her family’s extra ticket, my answer was obviously yes!
It was Justin Turner night at Dodger Stadium, and the first 40,000 fans in attendance received a replica jersey! That included us! We looked very cute in our matching Dodger gear, I must say. We had great seats, just about 12 rows behind home plate, and the game was action-packed and very exciting! I even found a semi-healthy food option: a chicken and broccoli teriyaki rice bowl. Surprisingly delicious, although as Zach said to me afterwards, “they wouldn’t sell it if it wasn’t good.”
We left at the top of the 7th inning, and sadly missed the exciting ending to the game where the Dodgers beat the Twins 6-3, but fortunately we missed the dreaded end-of-game traffic. It was such a fun night, and I’m stoked to have Hallie in LA through the end of August. Stay tuned for more LA adventures!
