Rather than give each of these events their two-paragraph posts, I decided to combine them all into one! Here are some fun little events I attended in the middle of April 2017.
Wednesday, 4/12/2017: Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE Awards
In another exciting edition of random events I go to for my clients, I attended the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE Awards in Hollywood! It was a really cool event and brought together some of the great minds of today. Check out XPRIZE and all of the amazing work they’re helping make possible!
Sunday, 4/16/2017: Easter

Last year, Maria hosted a low-key Easter dinner at her old apartment. This year, she and her boyfriend Evan went all out with a potluck dinner and an Easter egg hunt! There was so much delicious food, I went home and promptly fell into a food coma. Sadly I did not win the egg hunt, but what can you do?
Wednesday, 4/19/2017: Bye Bye Tax Season
To celebrate the end of tax season, I took a half day at work to hang out with my boyfriend Adam, the CPA. We started off at “Tel Aviv Grill,” a delicious Israeli restaurant in the valley. i swear to you, being there brought me right back to my time in Israel. We were the only non-Israelis in the place, which is how you know it good. We gorged on chicken shawarma and I smiled with every bite.
Next up we decided to be active, since he hadn’t had much of a chance to do that over the past three months. We found a nice hike through the Topanga Canyons, and basked in the perfect, cloudless day!
It honestly felt like I was cheating by not being at work, even though I’d taken a half vacation day. Totally worth it to be with this awesome guy!
After hiking, we headed back to his place to finish our binge of the show Westworld, which I HIGHLY recommend you all watch if you haven’t already. Such a trip.
It was the perfect day of fun. Can’t wait to share more of our adventures with you all!
