Danelle and I see a lot of musicals, and no of course there’s nothing wrong with that.

My amazing friend Danelle has season tickets to the Pantages Theatre, and I’ve told her that whenever she can’t find someone to see a show with her, I will gladly pay for the extra ticket. This was one of those times. The musical? An American in Paris! Neither of us had seen the movie, so the bulk of the show was going to be a surprise for us! We were both very excited.
We first grabbed a quick dinner at “Wood & Vine,” a bar with a really cool vibe. Both of us had had a bit of a day (don’t even get me started…), so we felt we could use some comfort food. On their menu, they had what they called “Hipster Mac,” a delicious mac and cheese made with truffle cheese, caramelized onions, and a cheez-it crust. It. Was. Everything. I needed a bucket of it.
We then hopped back across the street for the show! Overall, I really enjoyed it! It was a bit slow-moving, but the dancing was INCREDIBLE.
We’re seeing Into the Woods in May. No, we don’t have a problem. Stop asking.
