Brownies and cookies and cake, oh my! That’s about as good of an intro as is necessary.

When I was in high school, many a weekend would be spent with my friends ordering Chinese food/pizza, eating some delicious desserts made by my friend Sam, and watching whatever movie seemed to peak our interest. This was much like one of those evenings. Sam suggested that we have a dessert tupperware party, where each partygoer brings a dessert in a large tupperware container, and before leaving, fills that same tupperware with everyone else’s goodies to take home. While I ended up being a little late, due to watching my cousin’s dance show, I arrived just in time for the feastivities to commence (no, not a typo).

The night before, I made my 4-ingredient lemon crinkle cookies, which ended up being a big hit. Among the other offerings were brownies, Mexican hot chocolate cookies (made with cayenne for an extra kick), pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate chip banana bread coated in Nutella and made to look like a gingerbread house. Needless to say, I was stuffed.
We played some fun games and also watched Gilmore Girls (which was particularly fun since I’m currently going through the whole series for the first time). Overall, a really fun evening, and something I highly recommend you do with your friends!
