Okay, I have finally caught you all up. Well, if you read this post you’ll be caught up. Enough babbling, just read below…
Friday, 6/5/2015: Employment and the Hollywood Bowl

This was the big day that I’d been waiting for – the day I got a job! I literally ran down the stairs and jumped up and down to tell my parents. It was so exciting. Seriously.
That night, we had tickets to see Brad Paisley at the Hollywood Bowl. Such a fun time! I had been to his concert the year before in Irvine and it was equally as fun.
Monday, 6/8/2015: Dodger Game
I can’t remember the last time I went to a Dodger game, and I forgot how fun they are! We got to sit in the third row. I didn’t even need my glasses to see what was going on! Such a great time!

Saturday, 6/13/2015: Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah
My cousin Ethan finally became a man (well, in the Jewish tradition, at least) and we celebrated him becoming a Bar Mitzvah! It was awesome. The service, led by my dad, was lovely and intimate, and the party was such a great time! Oh and dinner? In’N’Out. Best. Ever. No joke. Here are a few snapshots!
A fun time was had by all. Such great memories, although my feet were seriously killing me by the end of the night. Not even wedges can save my poor feet…
Thursday, 7/2/2015: Hollywood Bowl, again
Clearly I am a creature of habit, as not even a month later, my family and I returned to the Hollywood Bowl! It was my mom’s birthday, and every year for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of July, there is a big fireworks show! Smokey Robinson performed, which was fun, but truly it was about the fireworks. And the SusieCakes marble cake I ordered for the occasion. SO GOOD. Do yourself a favor and order one for your next celebration.
Saturday, 7/4/2015: Backyard BBQ

Ahh the 4th of July. Since my family wasn’t doing anything, I decided that I would play hostess and invite a few friends over to celebrate our independence. My dad was super awesome and grilled up some burgers and corn on the cob, I made some patriotic sangria, everyone else brought something delicious, and we made s’mores over the fire pit for dessert. A very successful evening!
That’s about it for the highlights! I’ll try to do either a monthly update (or more, if there are exciting things happening). Hope you enjoyed!
